Origen Music started with recording of the Orthodox Church sacred choral music. In 1995 the founder of Origen Music Alexsey Zakharenko released CD "All Night Vigil" by Kiev Theological Academy Choir. They performed traditional chants and praise and worship music of Kiev Pechersk (Caves) Monastery. It was the first church music CD released in the Ukraine after the break down of the USSR and till now days it is one of the best examples of Orthodox church choral music recordings.
In 1996 Origen music began collaboration with Kiev Chamber Choir, which is now one of the best chamber choirs in the world. The first CDs by Kiev Chamber Choir: "Praise the Lord- Sacred Choral Music of the 19-early 20th century "and “Masterpieces of Ukrainian Baroque Choral Music" were recorded and released by Origen Music in the end of 1996. In 1996 Alexsey Zakharenko under the stage name Origen released his first CD "Electro". Later, he wrote some songs for the young singer Tetiana Lubimenko (a.k.a. Milana) and produced her debut album “They Beat a Women”. He was amazed by her ethereal voice and ability to sing from low bass to high soprano. Already at that time, she easily performed all the vocals of Queen’s "Bohemian Rhapsody" and you can make certain of it by listening to this song on her first album “They Beat a Women”.
Zakharenko was amazed by Tanya talent and ethereal voice and invited her to a creative collaboration that has been going on for 15 years. The results of this cooperation are the albums:
